Wade Wilson is a former spetsnaz soldier working as a mercenary in New York. In the local bar of his friend Ferdinand Wade meets a prostitute Vanessa Carlisle, with whom he later has a romantic relationship. A year later, Wade makes a proposal to Vanessa, and she agrees.
