Hey everyone, another quick relicensing update before I head to PAX: These songs will be removed from the Music Store in The Beatles: Rock Band on May 5th. Darling' The Beatles - 'You Never Give Me Your Money' The Beatles - 'Golden Slumbers' The Beatles - 'Carry That Weight' The Beatles - 'Polythene Pam' The Beatles - 'She Came In Through The Bathroom Window' The Beatles - 'Sun King' The Beatles - 'Mean Mr. Mustard' The Beatles - 'A Day In the Life' The Beatles - 'Being For The Benefit of Mr. The Beatles - 'Fixing A Hole' The Beatles - 'Lovely Rita' The Beatles - 'Sgt. Hmm I never bought any of The Beatles DLC. I always wanted it but since it is only in one game I never thought it was worth it.
Very sorry for the late replay, but I got my hands on the.wad files for the Beatles Rock Band DLC. So far, I'm trying to get them to work on the actual Wii system but with no luck.
I have not played my 360 since RB4 came out, so I don't think there is any point picking these up I might buy it just to 'complete the game.' I'm getting paid that week anyway and I can probably cash in some Bing reward points for Xbox store credits. Plus it would give me an excuse to pay through TBRB again.
It would be cool to play through all the albums. The career/campaign/story/whatever you want to call it is easily the best out of any music game, IMO.
Really immersive and sets the tone very well for each chapter. I think the only DLC I got was All You Need is Love, Because, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Oh! Darling, Sgt.

And I know there was some pre-order bonus that got me a few of them, so All You Need is Love and Sgt. Peppers Reprise version may be the only ones I actually bought. When the game first came out, I was a broke college student. Now I'm a slightly less broke 27 year old, so maybe I'll grab 'em. Hmm I never bought any of The Beatles DLC.

When the game came out I was a broke high school student. Now I am a broke college graduate. But yeah back when the DLC came out I always wanted to buy it, but now I think I would just be wasting my money. IMO, if you haven't bought these songs yet, I'd wait until after the 24th. The timing of the announcement seems odd (paxE + big announcement) and the date it's being pulled seems odd (it's usually end of the month). Unless of course you don't have a current gen console.
You really think The Beatles are coming to RB4? Set your expectations reasonable like the big DLC announcements are artists like Taylor Swift. No, I don't but there's no harm in waiting.
My expectations are so low they couldn't measured. I have said it in other threads. Nothing has changed for HMX since the launch of RB4. They are still cash poor and indie. Technically things have changed a liiiiittle since launch. They got some big venture investment like right after launch. Not a huge one though, IIRC.
But yeah, they're still very much an independent studio and people need to adjust expectations this time around. IMO, if you haven't bought these songs yet, I'd wait until after the 24th. The investment was for the vr. Pretty much guaranteed that all went to designing, developing, and testing it.
Ok, I have the game (altho I don't think I've ever played it - just haven't gotten around to it) and I know the majority of the songs, but looking at the DLC, only these two are familiar by title alone: All You Need Is Love Sgt. Pepper Are any of the rest of the DLC fairly well-known, or are they mostly deep cuts for die-hards? Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)' is not the song you are thinking of (that is on disc) but it is still pretty great 'A Day In the Life', 'Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)' and 'Lovely Rita' also get quite a bit of radio play here (especially 'A Day In the Life' which is one of the most played Beatles songs on my classic rock radio station).
